The Eat Smart, Live Strong sessions are designed to help older adults adopt two behaviors that may improve their health and overall well-being. The two behaviors are:1) Eat at least 3 1/2 cups of fruits and vegetables every day (1 1/2 cups of fruit and 2 cups of vegetables)2) Participate in at least 30 minutes of moderate-intensity physical activity most days

In session 2 we are hoping to explore how can we overcome challenges that may prevent us from eating at least 1 ½ cups of fruits and 2 cups of vegetables every day and participating in at least 30 minutes of physcial activity most days?·

In session 3 we will find ways to add colorful fruits and vegetables to some of our favorite “classics.” So we will learn how we can easily add fruits and vegetables to our daily diets without giving up our favorite foods.”
